About The Role
The Matchday Broadcast & Media Assistant supports live football coverage and matchday production activities. This role provides hands-on experience across sports broadcasting, livestream support, content capture and football media operations, offering students practical insight into a live production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with camera and tripod setup before matches
- Support audio, power and internet connectivity checks
- Assist with livestream setup and pre-match production testing
- Capture behind-the-scenes content and social media footage
- Record match notes including goals, substitutions and key incidents
- Support backup recordings and post-match file management
- Assist commentators, camera operators and production staff
- Capture short-form content for social media platforms
- Support equipment pack-down and post-match checks
