Student Ambassador

Candid Campus (candidcampus.io) connects families deciding on a college with current students at the schools they're considering. Parents book a scheduled phone call, the student gets paid for it, and the family gets honest answers about campus life, academics, and fit from someone actually living it. Every student on the platform is verified (government ID and enrollment check) before taking their first call.

Role Description

This is a paid, remote, per-call role. As a Student Ambassador, you set the hours you're available and families book you for 25 or 50-minute phone calls about your school. You earn a flat $35 per 25-minute call or $65 per 50-minute call (~$80 per hour of talk time), paid by direct deposit through Stripe. Calls are private so you and the family never see each other's phone numbers.

There are no shifts, minimums, or required promotional duties. Booking volume depends on family demand for your school. Hosts who share their profile — on Instagram, in parent groups, with counselors, with their network — tend to get booked more, so you're welcome to spread the word as much or as little as you like. This is an independent contractor role with Candid Campus LLC.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at (or recently graduated from) a US college or university (checked during onboarding)
• Able to pass an identity check (government ID and selfie)
• Comfortable having a friendly, honest phone conversation with prospective families (parents and/or students)
• US phone number
• Experience as a tour guide, orientation leader, RA, or admissions ambassador is a plus, but not required
