Social Media Content Creator

About Lily Eden Spa and Wellness

We are a wellness center opening in Wendell, NC in Spring 2027, founded and run by a registered nurse and health and well-being coach. We are not open yet — and that is the opportunity.

Right now, the founder is running live workshops and one-on-one health coaching across Wake County and the greater Raleigh area. You will capture it all: workshops, conferences, speaking events, and the brand as it is being built. You will also document the real process of opening a business — from signing the lease to grand opening day.

You will not be maintaining a brand someone else built. You will help build one and watch it launch.

What you will do

  • Produce and publish 3–5 pieces of content per week across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Shoot photos and videos at live workshops, conferences, and speaking events across Wake County
  • Edit short-form video from that footage
  • Design graphics and visual content using our brand kit — Canva is our baseline, and if you bring stronger tools, better
  • Draft captions in our voice and refine them with founder feedback
  • Respond to comments and messages within 24 hours
  • Keep a content calendar so we are never producing same-day

What we are looking for

  • Currently enrolled college student. Your major matters less than your interest — but you should genuinely want to build in photography, videography, graphic design, social media, or marketing.
  • You already make things. Show us anything you have posted, shot, designed, edited, or written.
  • You can take a brand kit and produce something that looks intentional, not templated
  • You publish. Perfectionism that prevents posting will not work here.
  • You communicate early when you are behind rather than going quiet
  • Reliable transportation required — event coverage is core to this role, not occasional

What you will get

  • $18–20 per hour, depending on experience
  • Published, real-world work for your portfolio — not mockups
  • Direct mentorship from the founder. You report to her, not to a manager three levels up.
  • A strong written reference for anyone who finishes well

Details

  • Part-time, 4–6 hours per week. Event weeks may run higher; we plan those in advance.
  • Hybrid: remote production plus required on-site event coverage across Wake County
  • Open-ended term with a formal review at 90 days
  • Reports to Katherine Rosado, RN, MSN, Founder

How to apply
Start your note with the word LILY so we know you read the full posting. Then tell us about one thing you have made and why you are proud of it, and include a link to anything you have posted or created. No formal cover letter needed. Finalists complete a brief paid project.
