What You’ll Be Doing
As a research manager intern, you will lead research efforts on policy issues, legislation, and political trends. As an intern for a non-profit, you will be guiding a small team to produce high-quality analysis that informs strategy, messaging, and advocacy efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee in-depth research and analysis of policy issues, proposed legislation, and regulatory developments
- Develop policy briefs, proposals, and talking points, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership
- Track legislative activity, votes, and political developments
- Manage research files, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery across the teamMentor and coordinate the work of research interns supporting policy research
Qualifications:
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with the U.S. legislative system
- Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate the work of others
- Interest in public policy, research, economics, data analysis and political advocacy
