What You’ll Be Doing: Joining a Political Action Committee
As the Messaging Strategy Manager, you will lead the development of clear and persuasive political messaging that represents our mission, priorities, and goals. You will guide the creation of content for social media, emails, advertisements, speeches, and outreach materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the our nonprofit’s overall messaging strategy.
- Create talking points, campaign themes, and communication guidelines.
- Review and edit social media posts, emails, press materials, and outreach content.
- Ensure messaging remains clear, accurate, consistent, and appropriate for its intended audience.
- Research political issues, public opinion, and communication trends.
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Interest in political communications, public relations, journalism, or public policy.
- Ability to explain complex topics in clear and understandable language.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Previous communications or campaign experience is helpful but not required.
