CVC Week Intern Photographer
Role: CVC Week Photographer (Event Content + On-the-Ground Capture)
- In-office onboarding ~2 weeks before CVC Week (camera + app walkthrough, event flow)
- In-person availability Sept 28 – Oct 2, 2026
- Coverage assigned across the week's events: evening socials, happy hours, the flagship conference day, and the Welcome Party
- Specific shifts assigned with flexibly around your schedule
- Compensation: Starts at $20/hour, flexibility for experienced photographers
- Open to all majors and backgrounds, not limited to students or recent grads
Overview
CVC Week is the largest global gathering of corporate venture capitalists, founders, and enterprise innovation leaders. Across 20+ events, we're building a small team of photographers to capture the energy of the week — from intimate happy hours to our flagship conference day. This role is ideal for someone who loves live event photography, works comfortably in fast-paced rooms, and enjoys meeting people. You'll have opportunities to photograph founders, corporate investors, and speakers from across industries, and selected shots may be featured in our opening keynote presentation.
Primary Responsibilities
Event Photography (Core)
- Capture candid and posed photos across assigned CVC Week events
- Cover happy hours, socials, the Welcome Party, and main conference sessions
- Deliver high-quality, on-brand images that reflect the energy of each room
On-the-Ground Ops
- Move through the room to approach and photograph attendees, speakers, and VIPs
- Support content capture for live social posting using a live photo-sharing app on phone device to send photos directly to attendees in real time (via QR code / event app)
- Adapt in real time to shifting run-sheets and day-of needs
What We're Looking For
- Strong live event / candid photography portfolio (student work welcome)
- Highly personable: confident walking up to guests and asking to take their photo
- Comfortable shooting in mixed lighting and fast-paced rooms
- Reliable, punctual, and calm under high-pressure event conditions
- Open to all Bay Area schools: current students and recent grads both encouraged to apply

- Experience with SnapMyPhotos or a similar live photo-to-attendee app
