Lab Chemist (Recent Grad/Chemistry/Chemical)
Pride Health is hiring an Lab Chemist to join our client's laboratory operations team.
This role supports analytical laboratory operations, equipment commissioning, test method development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working with laboratory equipment and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop proficiency in the operation and functionality of key analytical laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors to support instrument commissioning, setup, verification, and readiness.
- Create and update analytical test methods according to established laboratory standards.
- Support analytical laboratory projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure activities follow site quality and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical or manufacturing laboratory environment.
- Experience with laboratory equipment setup, commissioning, qualification, or verification preferred.
- Knowledge of analytical test methods, method development, or method refinement preferred.
- Familiarity with GMP/cGMP regulations and laboratory documentation requirements.
- Strong project coordination, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
Important Details:
- Employment Type: 1 Year Contract opportunity.
- Schedule/Shift: Full-time, Monday–Friday.
- Location: Cordova, IL 100% On-site.
- Work Environment: Analytical laboratory environment supporting equipment, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
- Pay Range: $22/hr - $25/hr (based on experience).
