Eating Disorder Therapist

Join our team at the Eating Disorders Treatment Center as an integral member dedicated to providing vital individual psychotherapy and group counseling to our patients.

 

Position Overview:

  • Deliver focused individual therapy sessions that address the unique needs and experiences of patients.
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that encourage sharing and connection among participants.
  • Collaborate with colleagues during weekly treatment team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document sessions effectively, maintaining thorough treatment plans, admission summaries and discharge summaries.

Requirements:

  • Counselor II: Master's degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work and an active LMHC or LMSW in the state of New Mexico. 0-5 years experience.
  • Counselor III: Master's degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work and an active LMHC or LMSW in the state of New Mexico. 6+ years experience.
  • Counselor IV: Master's degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work and an active LPCC or LCSW in the state of New Mexico. 2-5 years experience.
  • Senior Counselor I: Master's degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work and an active LPCC or LCSW in the state of New Mexico. 6-10 years experience OR 2-5 years with CEDS certification.
  • Senior Counselor II: Master's degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work and an active LPCC or LCSW in the state of New Mexico. 11+ years experience OR 6-10 years with CEDS certification.
  • Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LAMFT, LMSW, LMHC is preferred (provisional licenses are welcome, with the expectation of receiving a permanent license ASAP).
  • Available to work some weeknights until 7pm.
  • Demonstrate a specific interest in working with those suffering from an eating disorder or related diagnosis.
  • Commitment to HIPAA requirements and company's implementation of such.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Willing and able to work as part of a team to achieve company objectives with regard to patient counseling and support.
