Stargazing Tour Guide

We're looking for an enthusiastic Stargazing Tour Guide to lead guests through unforgettable nights under the stars (no prior astronomy experience needed) just confidence, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. In this role, you'll lead stargazing tours with a high proficiency of astronomy knowledge, set up, maintain, and break down telescopes and equipment with care and attention to detail, and create a safe, professional, and positive atmosphere that leaves guests feeling happy and inspired. You'll stay up to date on astronomy, space exploration, and night-sky events, continually expanding your knowledge to share fresh insights with guests, and think on your feet to troubleshoot equipment issues, weather changes, and unexpected guest questions with a calm, solutions-focused mindset. Additional responsibilities include general cleaning and maintenance of tour vehicles, the building, equipment, and facilities, as well as assisting with marketing efforts such as social media content, promotions, and community outreach. The ideal candidate shows up on time, works hard, and goes the extra mile as a dependable, team-oriented member of the crew, taking initiative on other duties as they arise.
