Events & Hospitality Intern

This is a paid internship and a hands-on learning experience in events, hospitality, and private club operations. Working alongside Salt Creek Club leadership and event staff, you'll help bring member events to life — from planning and promotion to day-of execution and guest service.

This is not a "watch from the sidelines" internship. You'll be trusted with real responsibilities, contribute ideas, and gain valuable exposure to the many moving pieces that make a busy private club successful.

What You'll Learn & Work On

• Assist with planning and coordination of member events including family bingo, trivia nights, holiday celebrations, paddle and pickleball events, ladies' events, tournaments, and end-of-summer celebrations

• Help with event setup, room and space turnover, signage, decorating, and event breakdown

• Support day-of event execution and serve as a warm, welcoming point of contact for members and guests

• Coordinate with the food & beverage, racquets, aquatics, and operations teams on event logistics

• Assist with vendor and rental coordination, including catering, equipment, and décor

• Help track RSVPs, headcounts, timelines, and event details

• Assist with creating event promotions, flyers, signage, and member communications for email, newsletters, and social media

• Contribute creative ideas to elevate the member experience
