Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Hansae Mobility is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team and play an important role in supporting our financial operations. The Accountant will prepare financial statements, examine, and analyze the company’s accounts and ensure compliance with financial reporting and accounting procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prepare assets, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  2. Document financial transactions and assign entries to proper accounts.
  3. Support and prepare Financial Statements in a timely manner.
  4. Develop reports that support the board for making decisions.
  5. Perform service to internal and external customers.
  6. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenue, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  7. Analyze and monitor Budget Balance.
  8. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  9. Develop and review the financial reconciliations Accounts Receivable - Accounts Payable and Taxes.
  10. Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
  11. Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  12. Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  13. Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  14. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns while ensuring compliance with payments and other tax regulations.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

 

Education & Language

  1. Degree and major: Bachelor and/or equivalent degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance or related field or combination of schooling and on the job experience.
  2. Language: English (Fluent). Korean is a plus but not required.

Required Experience

  • 3 ~5 years in related field

Physical Requirements and Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending lifting, and reaching.
  • Repetitive movement of hands and fingers- typing and or writing.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Skills, Requirements and Competencies

  • MS office skills (Must)
  • Excellent Multitasking skills with ability to prioritize.
  • Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
  • Problem solver.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures per GAAP
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated and integrity.

Work Authorization

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
