Pure Ambition Kids provides safe, engaging, high-quality after school programming designed to give children a positive environment to learn, play, build relationships, and grow.

We are looking for dependable, energetic team members who enjoy working with children and want meaningful hands-on experience in childcare, education, recreation, youth development, or related fields.

The Position

As a member of our After School Program Staff, you will work directly with children and the Pure Ambition Kids team to create a safe, organized, positive, and engaging after school experience.

This is an active, hands-on role. Program Staff help supervise children, facilitate activities, support daily routines, and contribute to the overall quality of the program.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 2:45 PM–6:00 PM

Consistent Monday–Friday availability is preferred. Candidates with reliable availability on specific weekdays may also be considered.

What You'll Do

Actively supervise and engage children during the after school program

Facilitate games, recreation, enrichment, and structured activities

Support homework, quiet activities, snack time, and daily routines

Help children transition safely between activities and program areas

Assist with student arrival, dismissal, and pickup procedures

Maintain safe, clean, and organized program spaces

Build positive and appropriate relationships with children

Work collaboratively with other Pure Ambition Kids staff

Communicate professionally with program leadership and families

Follow established supervision, safety, and program procedures

Participate in required training and staff development

Assist with setup, cleanup, and other daily program responsibilities

Driver Opportunities

We are especially interested in candidates who may be qualified to assist with student transportation using a 15-passenger van.

Driving is not required for this position. However, team members who meet Pure Ambition's requirements and are approved to take on student transportation responsibilities may be eligible for increased compensation.

Candidates interested in driving responsibilities must meet applicable driver eligibility, screening, insurance, training, and safety requirements.

Experience operating a passenger van, shuttle, large SUV, bus, or similar vehicle is a plus.

Previous experience in childcare, education, camps, recreation, coaching, mentoring, or other youth programs is helpful, but not required for every candidate.

Compensation

Pay: $18/hour

Team members who qualify and are approved to take on student transportation responsibilities may be eligible for increased compensation.

The Monday–Friday schedule provides approximately 16.25 hours per week.
