US Commercial Roofing is seeking a motivated, professional college student to join our team as a paid Sales & Marketing Intern. This position is ideal for a student interested in sales, marketing, business development, customer relations, or entrepreneurship who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

Position Overview

The Sales & Marketing Intern will support our sales team by communicating with current and prospective customers, following up on proposals and bids, and helping generate new business opportunities.

This is not a passive internship. We are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with customers, making outbound calls, following up consistently, and helping move opportunities toward a sale.

Responsibilities

Follow up with customers regarding outstanding bids, proposals, and roofing projects

Communicate professionally with property managers, building owners, facility managers, contractors, and other commercial clients

Call prospective customers to introduce US Commercial Roofing and identify potential roofing needs

Assist with business development and lead generation

Maintain organized notes and follow-up information on customer opportunities

Learn the basics of commercial roofing systems, services, and terminology

Use roofing information provided by our team to confidently communicate with customers

Help identify opportunities for roof inspections, repairs, maintenance, and replacement projects

Support sales and marketing initiatives as needed

No roofing experience is required. We will teach you what you need to know about commercial roofing, but we need someone who can quickly absorb the information and use it effectively in conversations with customers.

Schedule

This is a part-time, in-office internship with one of the following schedules:

Monday / Wednesday / Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
or
Tuesday / Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation

$15.00 per hour
