Veterinary Receptionist

Our warm and welcoming veterinary practice in South Pasadena is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to be the friendly face and voice of our hospital. If you enjoy building relationships, keeping a practice running smoothly, and working with a supportive, close-knit team, we’d love to meet you.

 

About the Role

As our Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in creating a positive, organized, and compassionate experience for every pet and pet parent who walks through our doors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
  • Manage phones, appointment scheduling, and client communication
  • Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate daily workflow to support the doctor and medical team
  • Handle prescription refill requests and relay medical information appropriately
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby
  • Assist with light administrative tasks as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a veterinary client-service role
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, friendly demeanor
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying organized
  • Experience with AVImark veterinary software recommended
  • Reliable, professional, and genuinely compassionate toward pets and their people
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed
  • Veterinary assistant experience is a plus
