Marketing Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
The marketing specialist will work directly with the Marketing Director to monitor and optimize omni-channel marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of marketing principles and a desire to gain hands-on experience related to data-driven marketing strategies, current marketing technologies such as CRM, CMS, and Marketing Automation, and the execution and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS
A successful candidate should have some experience in developing and/or reporting on multi-channel marketing campaigns, either alone or in a team environment. You will be required to work with various marketers from different agencies so strong communication and collaboration skills are a must. We are also looking for a candidate with a strong desire to gain an in-depth understanding of healthcare marketing to better serve our patients.

- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
- 1-2+ years of marketing experience
- Familiarization with major social media platforms
- Demonstrable knowledge in digital marketing such as SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media marketing
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with Adobe Suite a plus but not required (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position you will work closely with our marketing director and digital marketers, copy writers, graphic designers, programmers, and account executives from various agencies to monitor, analyze and report on omni-channel marketing campaigns to help Wilmington Eye meet our overall marketing goals.
- Monitor and report on PPC strategies and goals for Google Ads
- Assist in developing organic content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Work with creative agencies to oversee the development of paid social media campaigns across major media platforms
- Work with designers and developers to optimize landing pages that meet campaign objectives
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports for all major metrics and goals tracking
- Manage day to day tasks with agencies and other vendor partners
- Analyze and evaluate drip campaigns and marketing automation campaigns, making suggestions to improve user experience and sales funnels
- Monitor and improve brand reputation management solution by suggesting new strategies
- Make updates to business cards, rack cards, patient forms and other marketing collateral as requested by staff
- Work with cross-functional team to execute relationship marketing with external providers and practices
- Assist with the development and execution of launch campaigns for new services
- Edit and provide feedback on press releases and assist with media inquiries
- Manage Google Business Profile for the entire company, spanning multiple locations and providers
- Provide recommendations for A/B testing, keywords, structuring, targeting and other facets of digital advertising to meet marketing goals
