Spring Internship

Spring 2026 Internship:

We are offering a Spring internship that will be from January to May. While at World West you can expect to learn invaluable knowledge about the Cattle and Artificial Insemination industry.  We will expose you to every aspect of the Custom Collection Bull Stud while giving you a hands-on learning experience both in the lab, and out with the cattle. Housing is not provided

Responsibilities may include:

• Preparation and assembly of collection equipment
• Disinfection of collection equipment
• Support of collection team during collection
• Commitment to team work AND ability to work independently
• Assist in semen processing and storage
• Prepare orders ready for shipment
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipper tanks
• Tank inventory
• Understand and uphold biosecurity procedures
• Follow strict hygiene protocols, keep all laboratory areas clean and tidy
• Assist in some office tasks
  • Feeding and watering livestock
  • Doctoring livestock
  • Bedding bulls, cleaning pens
  • Being part of the collection team 
  • Running equipment – skid steer, tractor etc.
  • Building and maintaining fences, including electric fencing
  • Recognizing animal health issues and characteristics
