AI Prompt Engineer - 2027

What you could be doing: 

Some of the tasks involved in this role are: 

  • Creates, refines, and optimizes textual prompts to guide AI models and tools towards desired outcomes.  
  • Works with users across the business to develop and implement practical applications for AI tools.  
  • Tests prompts and evaluates the performance to identify areas for improvement.  
  • Supports business process redesign efforts oriented around AI application.  
  • Coordinates with Business IT and Divisional IT for alignment and governance.

Candidate requirements: 

You should be no more than 12 months post-graduation and available to take up a position no later than 30 September 2027 

You should have no more than 12 months’ work experience (not including university placements, internships, summer jobs, etc.) 

You must be eligible to live and work permanently in the US.

You will need to have a Degree and/or Masters in a relevant discipline i.e.: 

Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Info Technology and Info Systems

A good level of verbal and written English 

Driving License 

Willing to work full-time, in person

 
Use of AI in the recruitment process:

For example, you could use GenAI by showing it the job description and asking it to generate mock interview questions to practice with, but it should not be used to simply answer the questions for you.
