National Account Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • 16-week training period with a logistics professional to get a better knowledge of the industry
  • Responsible for lead generation and maintaining strong professional relationships through cold-calling and networking
  • Provide full-cycle customer service by understanding unique shipping needs, recommending valuable solutions, negotiating rates, and completing contracts for clients and carriers
  • Maintain detailed and comprehensive records in designated CRM
  • Other duties as required or assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess an entrepreneurial and sales-minded mentality with the tenacity to never settle and thrive in a competitive environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must work with a strong sense of urgency and display a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Must maintain a self-motivated and relentless work ethic while displaying a strong attention-to-detail
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
