WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Program Specialist, you will:
- Provide administrative support to the organization on a wide variety of complex and controversial actions and problems.
- Assist in the preparation, review and coordination of information, decision documents, special reports, and other programmatic documents required for successful administrative management.
- Solve unusual problems in performing a variety of duties related to special projects involving administrative or support issues.
- Plan and accomplish special projects through researching and analyzing problems, issues, or program requirements that may be unstable or complex.
- Schedule regular and special meetings, using knowledge of program events to determine need and timing.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:
- Providing administrative guidance to senior leaders in carrying out administrative, operational and liaison responsibilities.
- Managing procurement requests related to services, training, supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinating personnel actions related to time and attendance, travel, and on- and off-boarding US and non-US citizens.
