Job Summary: The Noon Lunch Aide helps supervise students during lunchtime breaks. Some of the main responsibilities include helping students follow the rules, keeping the lunchroom clean, and assisting with lunchroom tasks. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to manage groups of students in an active and often noisy environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work cooperatively with our noon lunch aide team, teachers and students
- Positive attitude and rapport with our noon lunch aide team, teachers and students
- Excellent communication skills
Job Description:
- Responsible for supervising students during lunchtime
- Wiping tables
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
- The position requires occasional lifting of supplies and movement of classroom furnishings during the course of the school day.
- Work takes place indoors
Work Schedule: 180 days for a full school year
- Monday-Friday, 10:15 am - 12:15 pm
Rate of pay: $15.00 per hour
