Media & Livestream Lead

Position Type: Internship 

Role Summary

HERS365 is seeking a Media & Livestream Lead to help strengthen the organization's public presence, community engagement, and external communications. This role is ideal for students interested in marketing, public relations, business administration, communications, journalism, media relations, or nonprofit outreach. The main role is to capture searchable athlete film, approved event coverage, sponsor proof, and a resilient production without violating rights or privacy.

 

EST. Start Date: August 14th 

EST. End Date: December 10th 

 

Responsibilities

  •   Define exactly what may be filmed, streamed, sponsored, clipped, and archived at each venue
  • Map cameras, audio, power, internet, storage, credentials, athlete IDs, and medical/safety lanes
  • Maintain guardian/athlete media status and restricted-use list at capture and edit points
  • Use searchable file naming with athlete, team, drill/rep, camera, date, and rights status
  • Hold public clips/results until Data and Competition certify facts

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Interest in community engagement and nonprofit work

Communication & Accountability Requirement

Because this is a remote-first internship, consistent communication is required.

Important Note: Interns must be available to attend a recurring 30-minute team status meeting to collaborate with leadership and cross-functional departments, provide project updates, and stay aligned on organizational priorities.

All interns must complete check-ins every:

  • Tuesday
  • Thursday
  • Sunday

Check-ins must be submitted via text, email, or the designated team communication channel and must include:

  • Current progress
  • Completed tasks
  • Upcoming availability
  • Any issues, questions, or support needs
  • Failure to maintain consistent communication may result in removal from the program.
