Location: Downtown Los Angeles — 221 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 (100% In-Person)

Hours: 18 Paid Hours / Week

Schedule: Pick Any 3 Days (Monday – Friday) | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Break Policy: 1-Hour Unpaid Lunch Daily (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

Compensation: $25.00 / Hour (W-2)

Growth Opportunity: Potential transition into a Full-Time role with a pay increase as live platform revenue and user volume grow.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Tech Stack: Proficiency in MERN Stack JavaScript (Node.js / Express), Core PHP / Laravel, HTML5/CSS3, Relational SQL, Redis, WebSockets, AWS (AWS Lambda), and Git/GitHub.

Mindset: Strong attention to detail regarding code structure, live system stability, user permission scoping, and data security.

Location: Local candidate able to commute and work on-site at our DTLA office 3 days a week.

Legal Mandatory: Must execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a 100% Intellectual Property / Work-for-Hire Assignment Agreement prior to receiving codebase access.

We take a careful, detail-oriented, and systematic approach to building software—valuing accuracy, code quality, system security, and steady execution over a rushed development environment.

ROLE EVOLUTION

PHASE 1 | Migration & Onboarding: Assist our team with auditing, testing, and executing our live multi-tenant CRM database migration while completing hands-on training with our lead technical architects.

PHASE 2 | Live Operations & Full-Stack Development: Once fully migrated, transition into running and expanding the live platform, maintaining full-stack architecture, writing new features, and enforcing system security.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Live Site Operations: Monitor server health, real-time WebSocket connections, Redis caching, and live application uptime.

Full-Stack Development: Design, build, and deploy new user-facing frontend features and backend API endpoints, Resolve Ticketing issues within platform.

Platform Maintenance: Write clean, scalable code, refactor existing modules, fix bugs, and optimize database query performance.

Code Reviews & Security: Conduct strict code checks, manage Git branches and pull requests, enforce permission scoping, and patch security vulnerabilities.

Production Support: Troubleshoot client-reported system issues and manage live patch deployments.
