Design Engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA 30308

Duration: 36 months

 

Job Summary

Natural Gas is an essential part of America's energy mix, trusted by more than 70 million homes and businesses. We are seeking an Engineer Design Contractor to support Client’s in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys supporting the construction of natural gas facilities and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.

A Typical Day May Include

  1. Working on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments.
  2. Performing design assignments involving components or functionality of pipeline products.
  3. Participating in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components, including maintenance-related design considerations.
  4. Performing system balances to determine optimal solutions for system issues, identify system low points, and recommend resolution methods.
  5. Providing oversight and support for construction activities.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or General), or equivalent academic education and experience.
  • 1–3 years of progressive engineering experience.

Certifications/Licenses

  • Preferred: Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)
