Accounts Payable Specialist

Ziegler Tire is searching for a part-time individual who will take part in our accounting team. Specifically, you will gain experience by:

• Working with company accounting processes including Accounts Payable (processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, issuing payments)
• Cross-training opportunities available; secondary tasks may include Accounts Receivable, Past Due Account tracking, and Collection Management.
• Assisting with vendor communications and invoice resolution
• Maintaining company filing systems (physical and digital)
• Managing company email and phone correspondence
• Providing customer support via email and direct phone calls
• Additional accounting and inventory-related activities commensurate with candidate’s background

Your Skills & Experience

• A team player who is proactive, flexible, results-oriented and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.
• Experience with Accounts Payable procedures highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Excel preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed.
• Excellent time management skills.
• High school degree/equivalent required
