About the Role

As a Front-End Developer – AI & UI/UX, you’ll play a key role in building the next generation of Scholarships.com.

We’re looking for a developer who combines strong front-end development skills with a modern, AI-assisted approach to coding, design, and prototyping. You’ll help shape our user experience, contribute to front-end architecture decisions, and build clean, efficient, scalable experiences used by students and families across the country.

We’re especially interested in candidates who actively use AI and modern design tools to work faster, explore ideas, prototype new experiences, and improve the quality of their work.

What You’ll Do

  • Help build the next generation of Scholarships.com.
  • Develop modern, responsive, and intuitive user experiences using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, prototyping, testing, and problem-solving.
  • Use Figma and AI-powered design and prototyping tools to rapidly turn ideas into functional experiences.
  • Translate designs and prototypes into clean, accurate, production-ready code.
  • Contribute to technology decisions and front-end architectural planning.
  • Maintain and improve existing websites and affiliated digital properties.
  • Write secure, high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Identify and implement improvements to UX, performance, accessibility, SEO, and site functionality.
  • Experiment with emerging AI, development, and design technologies that can improve our products and development process.
  • Stay current with evolving front-end technologies and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating front-end development skills and modern web experiences.
  • Strong proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of responsive, modern front-end development and design principles.
  • Experience using AI tools as part of the development workflow, such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Figma and the ability to translate designs and prototypes into clean, pixel-accurate code.
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted design, development, and rapid prototyping.
  • Ability to critically evaluate, test, and improve AI-generated code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for experimenting with new technologies.
  • Familiarity with C#, SQL Server, .NET technologies, and MVC is a plus.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO, accessibility, and UI/UX best practices.
  • Proficiency in cross-browser and cross-platform testing and debugging.
