We’re expanding our statewide event teams and looking for energetic, customer-focused Hat Bar Stylists who love working with people, enjoy hands-on creative work, and want a fun role that fits their schedule.
Role Overview
As a Hat Bar Stylist, you’ll be part of the on-site event team that brings our hat bar experience to life. You’ll help guests design and build custom hats, guide them through styling options, and ensure every interaction feels warm, fun, and memorable. This role is perfect for someone who loves events, enjoys creative work, thrives in social environments, and wants part-time hours — especially weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Event Experience & Guest Interaction
- Welcome guests and guide them through the hat styling experience
- Help clients choose hat styles, bands, feathers, branding, and accessories
- Provide friendly, upbeat, high-quality customer service
- Maintain a positive, energetic presence throughout the event
Hat Building & Styling
- Assemble and customize hats using provided materials
- Follow brand styling standards and quality guidelines
- Keep the styling station organized, stocked, and visually appealing
- Assist with creative decisions and offer styling suggestions
Event Support & Operations
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Help manage inventory and supplies during events
- Work collaboratively with Lead Stylists and Event Managers
- Ensure the hat bar area stays clean, safe, and efficient
Travel & Scheduling
- Work weekends (required)
- Work select weekdays based on your availability (daytime and/or evening)
- Travel to events in your area (e.g., Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, or San Antonio), and occasionally statewide
- Reliable transportation required
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality — you love interacting with people
- Interest in fashion, styling, design, or creative hands-on work
- Ability to work weekends and flexible weekday shifts
- Comfortable working in fast-paced event environments
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to lift 20–30 lbs (event equipment)
