Exercise Physiologist / Kinesiologist
Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a motivated, personable, and energetic Exercise Physiologist or Kinesiologist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team.
The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with patients and is passionate about exercise, movement, and helping individuals improve their strength, mobility, endurance, and overall function.
Responsibilities
- Guide patients through individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs.
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment.
- Monitor patients during exercises and ensure proper technique and safety.
- Help patients improve strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance.
- Demonstrate and explain exercises clearly to patients.
- Track patient progress and communicate observations with the physical therapy team.
- Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe exercise area.
- Assist with equipment setup and general clinic responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of exercise, anatomy, and human movement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients of different ages and abilities.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Previous clinical, rehabilitation, sports, or fitness experience is preferred.
