Join Our Team as an Art Instructor at Brush Studio!
About the Job:
- Position: Part-time Art Instructor
- Hours: Mainly evenings and weekends (perfect as a side gig!)
- Role: Host painting classes, guiding participants through a step-by-step acrylic painting process. You will also train as a host.
- Perks: Access to our fantastic library of paintings to teach and recreate
What You'll Do:
- Teach Classes: Guide guests (experienced and beginners) through painting sessions in an energetic and engaging way
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service in person and over the phone
- Setup & Cleanup: Prepare the studio before and after classes, including studio set up and cleaning
- Paint: Duplicate and teach from our library of acrylic paintings.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous art teaching or instructing experience is preferred
- Skills: Strong painting skills with acrylics, and ability to handle large groups (up to 50 people)
- Personality: Outgoing, energetic, and able to keep classes fun and very engaging - we love humor too!
- Customer Service: Stellar skills in providing top-notch service and assistance
- Flexibility: Available to work nights and weekends (weekends are a must!)
Required Skills:
- Art Skills: Ability to create and teach quality acrylic paintings in various styles
- Communication: Excellent public speaking and performance skills (microphone experience is a plus)
- Organization: Strong time management, reliability, and the ability to work independently
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with the internet and social media! Taking great photos is a PLUS.
- Education: College degree in Art or Design-related field is a plus.
