Lead Workshop Teacher
Work Responsibilities: Lead workshops. Zoom hosting. Classroom hosting. Provide a fun, creative, safe, and welcoming environment for students to learn hands-on STEAM. Work with teaching teams to recruit students and ensure students are individually supported. Guide students through our pre-existing lesson plans. Write final reports for workshop wrap-up. Paid training is provided. The lead teacher coordinates regularly with the Lead Workshop Facilitator. Learn more about our workshops at http://startechga.org
Qualifications Needed: 18 years of age or older. High school diploma/GED & some college education preferred. 1-2+ years of experience working with youth preferred. 1-2+ years of experience with tutoring or instructing is preferred. Experience using Zoom or Microsoft Teams preferred. Ability to commit to a full program cycle of 14 weeks. Covid-19 Vaccine Card. Must pass a criminal background check. Must provide 3 references.
Part-Time Schedule: Internship starts approximately September 15, 2026, and ends December 19, 2026 (14 weeks total). 7 hrs/week with paid training (25% Remote). Must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons for the scheduled workshops, but the additional days/hours have some flexibility.

Pay: $20- $26/hr
