Olympic View Baptist Church (OVBC) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Pastor.


OVBC is affiliated with the North American Baptist (NAB) Conference.


OVBC is located in University Place, Washington, near Tacoma.

About us:
OVBC is a family-focused church that seeks to connect all age groups spiritually with activities and events. Some of these activities are hosted meals, game nights, pickleball, picnics, potlucks, and cornhole tournaments.


OVBC members volunteer to serve. We keep our church body informed of life events through our text chain which includes updates, announcements, prayer requests, and opportunities to serve. Our church facility is well maintained and suited to its needs, being financially stable and debt-free.


Position:
This is a full-time salaried position. A total package compensation to be no more than $100,000.

1. A one-page letter of interest briefly describing how you meet the minimum qualifications and the basic elements of the job description


2. A professional resume
Minimum qualifications:
• Accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior
• Called to Pastoral Ministry
• Ordained or be qualified for ordination by NAB
• Meet the qualifications of an Elder as described in the OVBC Constitution (available on OVBC website noted above)
• A Bible Degree from an accredited institution (prefer Master of Divinity or equivalent)
• Experience as lead/senior pastor or associate pastor in a church that has grown through the 200 plus attendance level is preferred, or significant responsibilities as a staff member of a larger church
