At Brickel and Associates, LLC, we believe meaningful trauma therapy happens through safety, attunement, clinical depth, and authentic human connection.

Founded by Robyn Brickel, our Old Town Alexandria psychotherapy practice has provided trauma-informed, attachment-focused psychotherapy for more than two decades. We specialize in complex trauma, dissociation, attachment wounds, chronic stress responses, relational trauma, and nervous system-informed healing.

 

We are currently seeking:

  • Licensed Therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist)
  • Residents in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Early-career trauma therapists seeking mentorship and specialization

Resident Training Experience

Experience with trauma treatment, EMDR, dissociation, attachment work, or somatic/nervous system approaches is welcomed but not required.

Location

Our practice is located in historic Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, serving adults, adolescents, and professionals throughout Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC metro area.
