Imaging Assistant Internship

Bright Light Medical Imaging is seeking motivated pre-medical and healthcare-focused students for a year-long Imaging Assistant / Pre-Med Internship. This paid position combines meaningful hands-on clinical experience with a structured educational curriculum designed to provide exposure to both patient care and the practice of radiology. Interns work alongside physicians, technologists, and clinical staff while assisting with patient flow, rooming patients, obtaining focused medical histories, preparing patients for imaging examinations, and supporting daily clinical operations. As training progresses, interns may gain supervised experience with imaging-related workflows, participate in case reviews and anatomy sessions, and observe imaging procedures when appropriate. Throughout the program, interns participate in regular educational sessions covering medical imaging, anatomy, healthcare operations, insurance and patient access to care, and physician career development, culminating in a capstone project. This position is ideal for students pursuing medicine or other healthcare professions who are looking for substantial clinical experience, physician mentorship, and a deeper understanding of how diagnostic imaging contributes to patient care.
