The Operations Manager must be a community advocate for our organization, our residents, and those in need of our services.
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Operations Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our transitional housing programs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing The Operations Manager will be responsible for providing awesomely effective formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels of the organization. The Operations Manager is a member of the organization's Admin Team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for the Operations Manager position, the following qualifications are essential.
- The position will be based in our Kansas City, Kansas office location.
- Minimum of two-year experience in key functions of facilities management
- Minimum of one year experience with Microsoft 365.
- Minimum of one year experience with Microsoft 365.
- Minimum of one year experience with FreshService.
- Minimum of one year's experience with Purchasing.
- Implement and maintain the right processes and practices across the organization.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Windows Computers – Familiar and comfortable using Windows based computers.
- Microsoft Suite of Products – Demonstrated ability to utilize software and web-based applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence consistent with the duties of this position.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, inquiries, and/or complaints.
- Ability to learn and utilize office equipment, computers, and software especially as systems are upgraded.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Excellent computer and keyboarding skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess knowledge of or demonstrate experience in similar and transferable technical and operations managerial qualifications outlined below.
- Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (preferred)
POSITION SALARY & BENEFITS
- This is a new, full-time exempt hybrid position.
- The salary range for the position is $50,000-$60,000, with potential for adjustments based on individual skills, education, and qualifications.

- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role

HIRING PROCESS
- After a review of the candidates resume submission, eligible candidates will be contacted to complete a telephone interview.
- If candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities are deemed adequate to continue the hiring process for the position, Hillcrest will conduct at least one in-person interview with the candidate. In-person interviews typically include the hiring manager and other staff members.
