Are you a current student, recent graduate, or early-career professional looking to build hands-on technical experience? Accutek Labs is seeking a Calibration Technician to join our laboratory team in Cleveland, OH.

In this role, you'll learn how to calibrate, troubleshoot, and verify a wide variety of measurement and testing equipment used across multiple industries. You'll work alongside experienced technicians in an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory environment while developing valuable technical, mechanical, and customer service skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates pursuing or recently completing studies in engineering, engineering technology, electronics, manufacturing, industrial technology, physics, or related technical fields.

What You'll Do

As a Calibration Technician, you will:

  • Perform accurate and timely calibrations on test and measurement equipment in our laboratory.
  • Learn and follow ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards and laboratory procedures.
  • Perform routine calibration, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of a variety of instruments and devices.
  • Document calibration results and maintain accurate service records.
  • Communicate with customers regarding equipment status and service recommendations.
  • Ensure all calibration activities meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with experienced technicians and team members to solve technical challenges.
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional support throughout the calibration process.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn calibration and metrology principles.
  • Experience through coursework, labs, internships, military training, part-time employment, or hands-on projects in a technical, mechanical, manufacturing, or engineering-related environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks as needed.

Preferred

  • Associate degree, technical certificate, or current enrollment in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Physics, or a related field.
  • Internship, co-op, laboratory, or project experience involving measurement equipment, instrumentation, electronics, or troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of metrology or calibration concepts gained through coursework, training, military experience, or work experience.
  • Experience working within quality systems or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with calibration software such as IndySoft.
