Interior Design Intern

We are looking for an interior design intern to join our team in New York. The candidate will work under the guidance of our senior interior designers to provide support in all areas of the design projects. This is a great opportunity for an upper level interior design student to convert the internship to a full-time role post graduation. This is a temporary to permanent position, with a work review period of 60 days, whereas the position would become permanent with benefits.

Responsibilities:

·        Assist in design and development of projects

·        Create floor plans, elevations, and renderings using design software

·        Prepare presentations and materials for client meetings

·        Attend site visits and meetings with vendors and clients

·        Assist in the coordination and management of project schedules and budgets

Qualifications:

·        Currently enrolled in a senior-year Interior Design program

·        Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

·        Ability to work independently and with a team

·        Strong communication and organization skills

·        Passionate about interior design and willing to learn

·        Must be able to commute to and from New York City, have a Valid Drivers License and feel comfortable driving in the City.
