Assistant Shops Position Architecture
Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The Shops Assistant supports the daily operations of SACD fabrication spaces, including the Laser Lab, 3D Printing Lab, Woodshop, and other designated shop areas.
- Under the guidance of professional staff, this position assists students, faculty, and staff with shop operations, monitors equipment usage, and monitors shop activities to ensure compliance with established safety procedures while assisting in enforcing facility policies.
- Responsibilities also include maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment, preparing materials and supplies, performing routine shop support tasks, and assisting with departmental projects assigned.
- The Shops Assistant receives on-the-job training in the operation of shop equipment, safety procedures, and facility protocols while providing courteous customer service to shop users.

- Monday-Sunday, 8:30a-9:00p
