Early Career Teacher (KS2) – Harrow
Location: Harrow, London
Salary: £37,870 per annum – Outer London M1
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
Start date: 8 September 2026
ConnECT is seeking a capable and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (KS2) for a welcoming primary school in Harrow.
This full-time opportunity offers the chance to begin your career within a school that values collaboration, reflective practice and continuous improvement. You will receive structured support throughout your ECT years and opportunities to develop your skills across the primary curriculum.

The role
You will plan and teach engaging Key Stage 2 lessons that encourage pupils to think independently, contribute confidently and achieve their potential. Support will be available from experienced teachers, teaching assistants and school leaders.

Key responsibilities
• Plan and deliver a broad and balanced KS2 curriculum.
• Set clear learning objectives and high expectations.
• Assess pupils and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt learning for pupils with SEN and differing abilities.
• Manage behaviour through consistent and positive strategies.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and school activities.
• Engage with mentoring and professional-development opportunities.

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status by September 2026.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Successful KS2 experience during teacher training.
• Strong subject and curriculum knowledge.
• An organised, adaptable and reflective approach.
• Commitment to pupil wellbeing and safeguarding.
