Salary: £37,870 per annum – Outer London M1
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

Develop your teaching career in an inclusive Enfield primary school. ConnECT is seeking a committed Early Career Teacher (KS2) to join a supportive team for the 2026/27 academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT who wants to build strong teaching foundations while receiving regular guidance and professional development. The school values teamwork, high expectations and positive relationships with pupils.
The role
You will teach across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, helping pupils deepen their knowledge, independence and confidence. You will be supported with planning, assessment and classroom management as you progress through your induction.
Key responsibilities
• Plan stimulating and clearly structured KS2 lessons.
• Use assessment information to guide future teaching.
• Support pupils of different abilities to make good progress.
• Establish positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Provide appropriate support for pupils with SEN.
• Communicate effectively with families and colleagues.
• Engage fully with mentoring, observations and ECT training.
Requirements
• QTS obtained or expected before the start date.
• A recognised teacher-training qualification.
• Relevant KS2 placement or classroom experience.
• Strong curriculum knowledge and high expectations.
• A reflective, adaptable and organised approach.
• A commitment to inclusive teaching and safeguarding.
