The role
You will teach a KS1 class, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while helping pupils develop academically and personally. The position would suit a teacher who is enthusiastic, reflective and committed to inclusive education.
Key responsibilities
• Plan effective lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
• Deliver high-quality phonics and early reading sessions.
• Track progress and respond to assessment information.
• Adapt teaching for pupils with a range of learning needs.
• Maintain positive behaviour and clear classroom routines.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Build productive relationships with parents and carers.
Requirements
• QTS by the September 2026 start date.
• A formally recognised teaching qualification.
• KS1 experience through placements or previous school work.
• Understanding of phonics and early primary teaching.
• Effective communication and classroom-management skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
