High School Spanish Tutor (Remote)
Wilbur Academy is seeking an exceptional Spanish tutor to provide personalized virtual instruction to high school students nationwide. We are looking for educators with outstanding language proficiency, professionalism, and the ability to support students in rigorous academic environments.
Qualifications
- Must be located in the United States
- Junior or senior undergraduate student, graduate student, or college graduate
- Completed AP Spanish coursework required
- Experience taking or teaching AP Spanish, Honors Spanish, or advanced Spanish courses strongly preferred
- Ability to teach highly motivated, academically advanced, and gifted students
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
- Reliable, professional, and responsive
Position Details
- Fully remote position
- Must be available to teach students across Pacific, Central, and Eastern time zones
- Sessions are primarily held Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional weekend sessions
- Preferred start date is the last week of August or first week of September
- Selected candidates will participate in one or more paid trial lessons as part of the hiring process
- Candidates must sign a Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) and Work Agreement upon hire
- Reliable internet connection and consistent evening availability required
