Part-Time Legal Assistant / Pre-Law Intern (Manhattan Office)
Position Type: Part-Time (15–20 hours/week)

Compensation: $20.00 + / hour (Depending on experience)

📋 What You Will Do
You will assist with all aspects of running a busy Manhattan law practice, including:
- Case Operations: Open new case files and manage digital organization.
- Client Intake & Care: Conduct initial phone screens and serve as a professional point of contact for active clients.
- Medical Compliance & Discovery: Prepare HIPAA authorization forms, draft medical record requests, and track incoming evidence.
- Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys in drafting subpoenas and compiling trial notebooks.
- Tech & Administrative Support: Manage calendars via Outlook, draft legal correspondence in Microsoft Word, and perform investigative research via Google.
🔍 Who We Are Looking For
- Current Undergraduate Student: Meticulous, hardworking, and deeply curious about a career in law.
- Tech-Savvy Communicator: Strong verbal/written skills, fluent in MS Word and Outlook, and comfortable navigating web-based search engines.
- AI Familiarity: Experience using AI tools for productivity or research is a plus, but not required.
- Detail-Oriented: Able to handle confidential medical and legal data with absolute accuracy.
