As a Floor Team Member (Forest Friend), you aren't just supervising a room, you are gaining real, hands-on experience in child engagement, gross motor skill facilitation, sensory play, and family hospitality. This role provides practical experience directly applicable to clinical hours, teaching portfolios, or management resumes!

What You’ll Gain & Learn

Direct Child Facilitation: Learn how to guide child-led exploration using open-ended questioning and social-emotional modeling.

Family Hospitality & Operations: Gain skills in customer experience, front-desk check-ins, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and facility management.

Event Execution: Build experience in hosting, coordinating, and executing turnkey birthday parties and community milestone events.

Flexible Student Scheduling: Shift schedules designed around college class schedules, with primary needs during weeknights, weekends, and campus breaks.

Key Responsibilities

Play Facilitation & Engagement: Guide active play sessions, support social-emotional interactions, and lead spontaneous "Pop-Up" learning moments for children ages 0–8.

Guest Relations & Safety: Greet visiting families, manage check-in/waiver verification, process POS café and admission transactions, and maintain active, vigilant monitoring across all play zones.

Facility Stewardship: Keep our play space held to the highest standard through high-frequency sanitization cycles, toy resets, and maintaining a clean, developmentally inviting environment.

Milestone Celebrations: Assist in hosting and setting up weekend private parties to ensure a seamless, high-energy experience for kids and stress-free hosting for parents.

Qualifications

Ages 16+ with reliable transportation to our Jackson Township / North Canton location.

Passion for working with children, young families, and active play environments.

Enthusiastic, adaptable, and comfortable communicating with parents with professional grace.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stay active on your feet, bend, move through multi-level play structures, and lift up to 50 lbs during 4–6 hour shifts.
