About the Role

Vantage Point Consulting is hiring multiple college students to help us usability-test our online learning and study platform. You'll work through the platform from a learner perspective, identify what works well and what doesn't, and share written feedback that will directly inform ongoing refinements to the product.

No formal software testing experience required. We'll provide the testing protocols, feedback templates, and onboarding you need to be successful. If you're detail-oriented, have used online tutoring or study tools before, and are genuinely curious about how learning technology works, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Work through courses, practice problems, and assessments as an end user
• Test the platform's AI tutoring feature and provide feedback on the quality of the learner experience
• Test the mobile application across the full learner workflow
• Document your findings using structured feedback templates we provide (bug reports, usability observations, suggestions for improvement)
• Participate in occasional virtual team check-ins with our product team

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled college student
• Strong attention to detail
• Prior experience using online tutoring platforms, study apps, or learning management systems (Khan Academy, Chegg, Quizlet, Coursera, or similar)
• Interest in learning technology, education, or user experience
• Comfortable communicating clearly in writing
• Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage your own schedule against project deadlines

What We're Offering

• Paid position at $30.00/hour (1099 contractor)
• Approximately 100 hours of work across a one-month window (As soon as August 16th to September 30, 2026)
• Fully remote work with a flexible schedule you set around your classes
• Real product experience contributing to an online learning platform used primarily by adult learners 18-24 years of age
• Professional references and a portfolio-ready written work sample from your testing reports
