Registered Behavior Technician

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in schools, home, or community settings
  • Support clients in communication, social, and life skills development
  • Implement personalized behavior plans under BCBA supervision
  • Promote a strengths-based approach that respects neurodiverse perspectives
  • Collect data on observable client behavior
  • Assist in the development of treatment and behavior intervention plans
  • Educate and support families on implementing therapy techniques at home
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with the behavior analyst to assess progress and modify treatment plans as needed

Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

-State standard CEU classes (DCCC, HIPPA, ZERTO TOLERANCE, BLOOD BORNE PATHOGENS)

-CPR/First Aid

-High school diploma

-RBT Certificate

- Level 2 Background screening

-Local Law Enforcement Background check

- Experience working with children in a behavioral therapy setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with special education practices
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
