Forest Restoration Technician
The Forest Restoration Technician will work in forests, meadows and landscapes through northern DE and southeastern PA. Work sites will include private residences, homeowner associations, parks, nature preserves, townships, and other public and private lands.
Responsibilities include invasive plant removal with hand tools, native replanting, deer fence installation, occasional pond work, improving storm water runoff, rock wall construction, and general tasks to support healthy ecosystems for people and wildlife.
Minimum qualification includes a profound interest and enthusiasm for natural sciences, and some related work experience or college level education. Having or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in wildlife conservation, environmental science, or other related field strongly preferred.
This is a seasonal position extending from late August into early December. However, employees who show enthusiasm for the position are always welcome to join our crew permanently.
