Optimum Physical Therapy Associates is a small, independently owned private practice looking for a physical therapist to join our Folsom branch's outpatient orthopedic team.

This position is a strong fit for a new graduate or early-career physical therapist who wants to develop into an excellent orthopedic clinician in an environment that prioritizes mentorship, clinical reasoning, continuing education, and professional growth.
 

About Optimum

Optimum is an independent outpatient physical therapy practice with a strong orthopedic rehabilitation focus. As a smaller private practice, we are able to provide a collaborative environment where clinicians know one another, discuss cases, and have meaningful access to experienced therapists for mentorship.

We want our therapists to continue developing throughout their careers. We invest heavily in continuing education and provide financial support for clinicians interested in pursuing orthopedic or sports residency training and advanced specialization.

Our clinic director at Folsom is an Arcadia University DPT and orthopedic residency graduate who is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), clinical instructor, and adjunct faculty member at Arcadia University.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Develop individualized, evidence-informed plans of care
• Progress patients toward meaningful functional, recreational, occupational, and athletic goals
• Educate patients regarding their condition, prognosis, and treatment plan
• Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals when appropriate
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in mentorship, case discussion, and continuing professional development
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture focused on excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Eligible for physical therapist licensure in Pennsylvania
• Strong interest in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
• Commitment to continued learning and development as a clinician
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful but not required. We are more interested in finding someone who is motivated to learn, receptive to mentorship, and committed to providing excellent care.
