Content & Storytelling Intern (Part-Time)

About the Company

We're a growing New York City tour company creating unique experiences that help visitors and locals see the city through a different lens. Our tours combine history, food, culture, and storytelling to create memorable experiences for guests from around the world.

As a small business, interns work directly with the Founder and gain hands-on experience across content creation, tourism, hospitality, and entrepreneurship.

Position Overview

We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content & Storytelling Intern to help share New York City's stories through social media, blogs, photography, and digital content.

This is an ideal opportunity for students interested in marketing, communications, journalism, tourism, history, media production, or content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Draft social media captions and posts
  • Assist with blog writing and content research
  • Repurpose long-form content into social media content
  • Organize and manage photo and video assets
  • Research NYC history, attractions, and cultural topics
  • Monitor social media trends and identify content opportunities
  • Assist with photography and content collection during tours and events
  • Help maintain a content calendar

Qualifications

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Interest in New York City history, culture, food, or tourism is a plus

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule
  • Approximately 10-30 hours per week, flexible
  • Hybrid position with some opportunities for in-person content collection in New York City
