Laboratory Technician

Laboratory Technician

  • Job Title: Laboratory Technician
  • Department: Research and Development / Quality Control 
  • Reports To: Laboratory Manager 
  • Job Type: Full-time

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sample Running: Run biological samples on the rHEALTH technology
  • Testing: Run routine and complex tests following exact written steps.  Record daily data generated.
  • Equipment Care: Set up, clean, maintain, and calibrate lab tools like analyzers.
  • Data Entry: Record test results accurately in logs and computer systems.
  • Safety: Follow biohazard and safety rules, dispose of waste properly, and keep the workspace clean.
  • Inventory: Track lab supplies and order new items when stock is low.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or biological science field (High school diploma with strong experience accepted).
  • Experience: Prior work in a lab setting is strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, good hand dexterity, and clear communication skills.
  • Safety Knowledge: Familiar with safe handling of chemicals and biohazards.

Details

  • 40 hours per week
  • On-site in Bedford, Massachusetts
