Collaborative Therapies is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based therapy team.
This is a great opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with children and wants to build meaningful clinical experience in a supportive school environment. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist while helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve their individualized goals.
What You'll Do
Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
Implement treatment plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
Support students in developing communication, articulation, language, and related skills
Document therapy sessions and student progress accurately and on time
Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, school staff, and families as appropriate
Participate as a collaborative member of the student's educational support team
Qualifications
Education and training required to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Current or eligible Florida SLPA credentials, as applicable
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with children and school-based teams
Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered services
