Substitute Teacher

The Wilson School is hiring substitutes for the 2026-27 school year.  The Wilson School is a small independent elementary school in Clayton, MO, for children ages 3 through 6th grade. Grades are team-taught with 5th and 6th grades departmentalized. 

This position is ideal for a newly graduated education major wanting to gain classroom experience with children in a joyful elementary setting.

Typically, substitute teaching responsibilities are full-day from 8 am through dismissal at 3:30 pm. In addition to general classroom assistance, you may also be asked to take on additional responsibilities such as lunch or recess duty.

Requirements:

• College degree, preferably in education
• or a substitute certification

Pay is $175/day
